Introducing Mason

If you have visited this page recently, you may have noticed the picture of a baby in the sidebar. Those would be pics of Mason Alsworth Toothman. Keturah gave birth to Mason on August 2, 2006 at 1:56 in the afternoon. He arrived in this world weighing 12 lbs, 6 oz. and 20.5 inches in length

Mason at 10 days old

I haven’t had much chance to write about Mason yet. Its been a challenge integrating baby care into the existing lives Keturah and I have. Lots of things have been cut…such as cooking big meals from scratch…and updating web sites.

Keturah and I are so thrilled and happy to have Mason. He’s a fun baby. He has been pretty mellow so far. He cries when he needs something - like getting changed or getting fed. Other times, he makes some noises, but nothing approaching a full-on wail. It’s particulaly fun to watch him wake from a nap. He likes to stretch out his wiry arms and legs. Keturah believes he wakes just like I do, somewhat cranky, uncertain, and stretching repeatedly.
